I’m Joe and I’m a Fishaholic

Ok, I’ve done it.  They say admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery.  But wait, maybe I don’t want to recover.  Maybe I’m happy living my life with the constant cravings to get out on the water and soak some bait.  I may never kick the habit and I’m fine with that.

I’m am a Californian, born and raised on the Eastern Edge of the Bay Area.  Most days when I was young were spent fishing, hunting or planning a way to go hunting or fishing.  I used to be so obsessed I would measure the time between fishing trips in hours, not days.  I used to stash my fishing pole near the canal on my way to school so I could sneak a few hours in when I rode my bike home.  Yes, it was that bad.

I eventually moved to Bangkok, Thailand and drifted away from fishing not realizing the opportunity just under my nose.  After spending about 8 years here I decided to get back into the sport.  I came back with a vengeance and this is my outlet to spread the word about the wonder that is…Fishing Thailand.
